Collaborative family law represents a meaningful extension of my established legal and ADR practice. This new working relationship provides a great opportunity for people to become truly empowered in their divorce and separation experience.
As Founding President of Ottawa’s Collaborative Law Network, I am proud of our local accomplishments in delivering this dynamic client centered process to our family law clients. As Founding President of the Ontario Collaborative Law Federation, I have been privileged to learn more about best practices and, how we, as the legal profession can provide positive contributions through this innovative and proven form of alternative dispute resolution.
My solid experience as a family mediator and interest-based negotiator has demonstrated that conflict and other negative consequences which may accompany separation or divorce can be reduced by communication and negotiation skills. Knowledgeable in law and process, I remain dedicated to the dynamic challenge of collaborative family law. |
