I am pleased to be associated with the Collaborative Family Law practice. As an actuary, I can assist lawyers and their clients by providing the value of the pension assets accrued during marriage, estimating the average tax rate payable at retirement, understanding the options available for the split of pension and more. After completing my education in Quebec city and working in the insurance and pension industry in New York and Chicago, I settled in the Ottawa region in the late 90’s. I joined a long time friend Guy Martel in the foundation of GML Actuarial Services in 2002. I am a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (F.S.A.), a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (F.C.I.A.) and a member of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries Committee on Actuarial Evidence.
