Proceeding through a divorce is a difficult and emotionally charged experience and the manner in which you chose to settle your dispute with your ex-spouse will have a significant long-term impact on your children, your life and your financial future. This is why you need a family law professional who will help you find an appropriate balance between achieving the full extent of your legal rights and minimizing the negative impacts that your separation may have on yourself and those you love. Julie and her team are sensitive to your needs and dedicated to helping you go through your separation or divorce with dignity, while achieving the best results possible for yourself and your family.

Julie’s practice is restricted to family law. She has a Master’s Degree in Family Law, taught family law at the University of Ottawa for two years and has been a guest speaker in various family law conferences throughout Ontario. She sits on various committees comprising of judges, lawyers and other family law professionals who are continuously trying to improve the family law justice system and make it more accessible to family law litigants. In January 2010, Julie created Family Law in a Box (www.familylawinabox.com), a web-based family law information and resource center through which the public is provided with information sessions, teleconferences, workshops and other family law information programs in a group – and more affordable – setting.
Julie is fluently bilingual and offers her services in both official languages. She has an office in Ottawa (downtown) as well as in Russell, Ontario.
