Joyce is a Certified Financial Planner and specializes in the field of divorce financial planning. As a Financial Divorce Specialist, Joyce is trained in the financial and tax issues of divorce. She works with divorcing couples or individuals and their lawyer(s) to help them make an informed decision. With the use of proprietary software, she is able to provide a financial analysis of possible settlement scenarios, taking into consideration inflation and changing tax consequences.

Joyce has extensive training in Collaborative divorce and is a trainer at Interdisciplinary collaborative practice workshops and a guest lecturer in collaborative family law at the University Of Ottawa Faculty Of Law. She is the current Treasurer of Collaborative Practice Ottawa and serves on the board of directors of the Ontario Collaborative Law Federation.
